Croupier in New Zealand, here. I've been on the floor properly for all of two weeks, and I already have some delightful stories to tell.

I love my job, I really do! Most of the patrons are great. 99% of them. :) And the job is super fun, too!

For the holidays, my mother bakes every kind of cookie and pie and cake she can. She has 18 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and even they can’t eat all of the treats she puts out.
Everyone in my family knows that I try to eat healthy and I’m trying to cut back on sugar. So I look at the dessert table at my mother’s house and quietly grumble. But then, sure enough, there’s always the one thing

hey guys! I have a problem with a couple of vocabularies that kinda don't exist (lol). or I'm too stupid to find them:
похороны (is this actually a plural word? couse I've found the singular one too but I'm not sure) - укапывание(I don't know what this is, I have found one where there's a T instead of the P but I'm not sure) умершего в землю
застенчивый - скромный, воздержный (I only found this one: воздержанный)

okay so I know people were saying about how everyone gives positive feedback even when something is broken or really late, and I paid for a dress a month ago and only received it the other day. but i got it in the end, so is that positive feedback or should it be neutral? :/

I found out while Googling "Francine Pascal" that some of the early books which were reprinted are showing up as Google Books results. So you, too, can see Jessica moaning about the zit that ate Sweet Valley in Double love on your web browser. :)
Aside: I was actually trying to find the Fearless books and couldn't remember the name so I was Googling her name to see if maybe they'd come up. I ended up running a search on amazon.com and then I remembered. :)
